Mischa Haller's photography focuses on details and moments that show the larger picture of life.

He is a regular contributor to The Independent, The Saturday Times Magazine, Property Week, Redwood Publishing, the Future Laboratory and Peter Anderson design.

Most recently, Mischa created an image library for Burnley Borough Council to launch their new image campaign. He is also working on two features for The Times Magazine.

Last year, Mischa worked on the 30th Anniversary book for 'The Friends of the National Gallery, Berlin.' He also contributed to the self-marketing book for Fortune Street, a branding company.

Previously, Mischa travelled around the globe documenting 'Young Art,' a scholarship programme for young artists run by UBS bank. The catalogue was published in September 2007 alongside a show in Zurich.

As part of its visual arts programe, Mount Stuart Trust commissioned Mischa to chronicle life on the Isle of Bute. The book, 'on bute,' was published in 2005 and accompanied an exhibition at Mount Stuart.

Mischa's first solo exhibition was held at the Friedland + Rivault Gallery in Paris. The portraits, entitled 'in between: swimmers and ice men,' were shown in early 2004. A selection of the series was also shown later that year at the Photographers’ Gallery London, Print Sales Gallery.

The 'swimmers' series won a 2003 Award of Excellence by Photography Annual 44 and appeared in the August issue of Communication Arts (USA).

A book of portraits and reportage, entitled, 'off chance', was published in 2002. the Eurostar sleepers series in the book was shortlisted for the St James Group photography prize.

Mischa's personal work is available at the Diemar/Noble Gallery in London. His documentary work is syndicated by Getty Images and his portraits are distributed by Camera Press.

Born in Switzerland, Mischa trained for five years as an assistant in Paris to photographers including Peter Beard. Since 1998, he has been based in London.
